Melissa Rossi : Director

Melissa’s innate ability to get to the heart of every story allows her to create work that connects with audiences. As a partner at Gray Cat Films, she has directed heartwarming and inspiring content for Pampers, LEGO, Huggies, Kraft-Heinz, and more. Her screenwriting work has ranked high in the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship and Austin Film Festival competitions, and in 2005, she won a Student Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. With a broad film industry background in development, commercial production, and post, Melissa has worked across Hollywood at Lionsgate, Yari Film Group, and Revolutionary Releasing. She also really likes cats.

JP Perry : Cinematographer

JP loves traveling the world shooting documentaries and commercials, including work for for NatGeo, Procter & Gamble, Bank of America, California Milk, and many more. As an integral part of the camera crew on BBC's Planet Earth 2 and Enchanted Kingdom 3D, JP filmed for nearly 300 days in eight countries across Africa, ranging from arid deserts in Ethiopia to the freezing peak of Mt. Kenya. While living in Los Angeles, JP joined the camera department at Evergreen Studios, where he worked with a small team to develop 3D camera systems and new visual effects techniques. In 2010, JP’s feature debut as a cinematographer, The Taqwacores, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and SXSW.
